In this episode I’ll be talking with my friend and fellow horse trainer, Deanna Preis, about her experiences growing up with horses and becoming a professional instructor.
Deanna Preis is a trainer and advocate of the horse, focusing on biomechanics, happy horses, and healthy movement. Using her degree in biological sciences, as well as many equine specific anatomy courses and classical training programs, she works the horse’s body in a way that aims towards keeping them happy and healthy in their work well into old age. She lives in Freeburg, IL and offers groundwork, liberty, and riding lessons. Classes on anatomy and function, as well as video coaching, and clinics.
